TheDirectory is a private directory for adults in the United Kingdom. Joining and listing are free. Independent members list themselves, other members find them, and the two talk directly. We keep the standard high, the membership small, and stay out of everything that happens after the introduction.
Four steps, in order
Apply
Every account starts as an application. You give us an email address, a telephone number and the basics of who you are. Nothing is visible to anybody else at this stage.
Get reviewed
A person reads your application and looks at your photographs before either is published. Most are decided within a day. Nothing goes live automatically, and nothing goes live at all if it does not meet the standard.
Appear
Once approved you hold a listing in the directory: your photographs, your area, your availability and the ways you are happy to be contacted. You choose what is shown and you can change or hide it at any time.
Connect
Members message each other through the site. Conversations stay on the platform unless you choose to share a number, a Telegram handle or an email address from your own profile.
For members, browsing and messaging
Standard membership is free, permanently: browsing, messaging every verified member, and appearing in the regular directory results if you also advertise. VIP adds one thing, and it's exactly one thing -- everything else a member does costs nothing regardless of tier.
Every function of the site, for a member: browsing, messaging, Sexting, Live Cam and Phone Fun (paid per message or per minute, same rate for every member), and a booking request. No part of this is held back for VIP.
A VIP badge shown next to your name, in chat and on the browse grid. That's the whole of it -- VIP does not change your access to anything a Standard member can already do. A one-time, free 24-hour trial is available from the Membership page: real usage, not a calendar day, so it can be spent in small pieces across as many days as it takes.
For advertisers, listing and earning
Every listing is free and always shown, on every tier, every day -- that has never changed and never will. The only thing money buys is placement and revenue share.
A full listing, shown every day, forever, at no cost. You keep 60% of everything a member spends on you. Every application is read by a person, and there is no catch waiting behind it.
100 tokens buys top of the directory at double width, a diamond marker, 5 private galleries you release person by person (Standard gets 1), priority in the review queue, 10 outcall postcodes free (Standard gets 1), 10 Sexting conversations at once (Standard gets 2), 70% of what you earn (up from 60%), listed every day with nothing to renew, requiring a deposit before a booking on your own terms, and seeing who viewed you rather than just how many.
A single payment, no renewal, ever: shown first, ahead of every Platinum listing, for as long as you're a member. One Platinum member also wins this free every month, chosen at random.
Tokens
One token is £0.25, four to the pound. Tokens are the one currency the site runs on: buy them once with whichever token suits you, then spend them anywhere on the site. A Sexting message costs one token.
Pay with crypto
Eleven tokens accepted, at today's rate. Nothing here is fixed to a fake number: this is the same live rate the checkout on your own dashboard quotes.
XRP is our own preferred rail, and the one we settle our own treasury in -- an operational choice about speed and cost, not a recommendation to buy or hold anything, and nothing on this page is financial advice. Every token confirms at its own pace: XRP is typically near-instant, others can take longer, and a slower confirmation is a network doing its job properly, not a failed payment.

Rates come from CoinGecko, cached for a few minutes so a page load never waits on it. Nothing is verified on chain automatically: you send the payment, tell us the transaction hash, and a person checks it before your balance moves.
Where we stand
We are the platform, not the party
TheDirectory provides a listing and a way to talk. Whatever two adults agree between themselves is theirs, arranged directly, on their own terms. We take no part in it, set no terms for it, and take no cut of it.
Crypto only, on purpose
There is no card processor and no bank in this loop. You buy tokens with a token you already hold, at the live rate, and everything paid on the site afterwards is spent in tokens.
Independent by design
Everybody listed here runs their own affairs. Nobody is employed by us, managed by us, or directed by us. We do not set anyone's availability, their terms or their prices, and we do not publish a menu on anybody's behalf.
Adults only, verified
Eighteen and over, without exception. Identity is checked, every photograph is reviewed by a person before publication, and an account that misrepresents who it belongs to is removed rather than warned.
Your privacy
Approximate areas only
Your listing shows a district, never a pin. We do not publish anybody's address and there is no map marker on a profile.
You choose the channels
Telephone, WhatsApp, Telegram and email are each shown only if you add them. Leave them out and members can still reach you through the site.
Off at any time
Hide your listing for an evening or a fortnight and bring it back yourself. Nothing is deleted while it is hidden.
Questions
Why crypto only, why not a card?+
A card processor will not carry this kind of platform, and we are not interested in disguising what the site is to get one to. Crypto is the payment rail that actually works for an adult directory, so it is the only one we use.
Why isn't my top up instant?+
Nobody's wallet is watched automatically yet: you send the token, tell us the transaction hash, and a person checks it against the block explorer before your balance moves. It is usually quick, but it is a human step, not a webhook.
What happens if I send the wrong amount, or on the wrong network?+
Tell us anyway. An overpayment is credited at the rate it arrived; an underpayment is short and we will ask you to top up the difference. Sending an asset on a network it does not support (Tether on the wrong chain is the common one) can mean the payment is unrecoverable, which is why the checkout is explicit about which network to use for each token.
Is Monero really accepted?+
Yes, at Jon's own instruction: it is what this audience actually wants to pay with. It is worth knowing most large UK exchanges have delisted it, so converting it back to pounds is harder than the others, and it draws more questions from a bank.
Do I need to buy tokens to join?+
No. Standard membership is free: browsing, messaging every verified member and appearing in the regular directory results all cost nothing. Tokens only come into it for Sexting messages, for an advertiser's Platinum placement, and for a buyer's own VIP badge.
Can I get a refund on unused tokens?+
Get in touch and we will look at it case by case. There is no self-serve refund button today.
What does an advertiser actually get paid?+
A token spent on an advertiser is £0.25 from the member, and the advertiser keeps at least 60% of it, settled to their own address. That rises to 70% on Platinum and 80% on Super Platinum. Running the site takes 20% throughout, so what we keep is whatever is left, which on Super Platinum is nothing. We do not hold an advertiser's earnings for them.
What about tokens you give me, rather than ones I buy?+
A registration bonus, a referral reward, or completing part of your profile all earn you Sparks, not tokens: issued by us, not bought. Sparks carry no monetary value and can never be exchanged for cash, by you or by us. They lift your profile, a boost, a glow, an extra gallery slot, that kind of thing, and can never be spent on anything that reaches another member, such as a message or a gallery unlock. Tokens are the ones you buy, and those are what reach people.
Can a credit to my account be reversed?+
Yes, in specific circumstances: if a top-up was credited in error, was not actually a payment made to us, or came through fraud or abuse of the top-up or referral process. We will tell you before or as soon as we do this wherever reasonably possible. This is set out in full in our Terms.
