My Directory Bot: Telegram Alerts for Providers
My Directory Bot sends your bookings, messages and sales straight to your Telegram, so you never miss a request while you are away from the site. You make the bot yourself in Telegram, paste it in once, and it works for TheDirectory.uk, MyStrip and your own site.
What it does
Once it is switched on, your bot sends you a Telegram message when someone asks to book you, when a new message arrives, when someone buys from you, when someone joins your live room, and when there is news about your account, such as an identity check result.
You can run up to four bots, each with its own job: Bookings and messages, Cam (phone calls, sexting and private shows), Sales (purchases, MyStrip orders and tokens) and Account (verification, renewals, your plan and support replies). Use one, or all four if you like your alerts kept apart.

Once it is switched on, your bot sends you a Telegram message when someone asks to book you, when a new message arrives, when someone buys from you, when someone joins your live room, and when there is news about your account, such as an identity check result.

How to set it up
Open BotFather in Telegram and send /newbot. Give it the name we suggest on your Bots and APIs page (Telegram needs the name to end in bot) and copy the token BotFather gives you.
Paste the token on your Bots and APIs page and press Save. Then press Open my bot and press Start in Telegram, because a bot cannot message you first. Press Send test message, check it arrived, and switch the bot on.

What an alert says
A booking alert gives the day, the time and how long, never the customer's real name or notes. A sale gives what was bought and the number of tokens, never an address. A message alert names the customer by their display name only and quotes the first part of what they wrote, with email addresses, phone numbers and links taken out. Photos and files are never sent to Telegram.
To reply, open Messages on TheDirectory.uk. Replying from inside Telegram is being built and will be switched on once it has been tested.

Every photograph here is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and members who have verified their identity carry the Verified tick. Browse who is online now, or join free to message them.

Your token and your privacy
Your bot token is stored encrypted and never shown again, not even to you: to change it you paste a new one, and you can remove it at any time. Our server has to open it to send your alerts, so we say stored encrypted rather than claiming nobody can ever read it.
Alerts travel through Telegram, which means Telegram's servers carry them like any other Telegram message. If that is not right for you, simply leave the bot switched off and keep using the site as you do today.

Who can use it
My Directory Bot is for providers who have a listing on TheDirectory.uk and have completed the age check. It costs nothing: there are no tokens to spend and no plan to buy.
If Telegram stops accepting your bot, because the token was revoked or the bot was blocked, we switch it off and tell you on your Bots and APIs page so you can reconnect it.
