Booking a Provider: How a Booking Request Works
A booking on TheDirectory.uk is two people agreeing a time. You ask for a day, a time and a length, the provider accepts, asks a question or declines, and every step lands in your normal messages. No money passes through the site: anything you pay is between the two of you.
Asking for a time
Sign in, open the profile of a provider who takes bookings and choose in call (you go to them) or out call (they come to you), a length from 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5, 2, 3 or 4 hours to overnight, and a day and time. For an out call you say roughly where. You can add a note of your own.
A request needs at least an hour's notice and can be up to 60 days ahead. If the provider lists her own services, picking one fills in its length and kind for you.

What happens next
The provider sees your request on her bookings page and replies: she accepts it, asks you a question first, or declines. Each reply also arrives in your messages, so you never have to go looking for it.
Once a booking is confirmed, sort out anything still open in messages. After the time it can be marked completed, and you can leave feedback on her profile.

Fair to everyone
A time somebody has asked for is held for them, so nobody is ever told yes to a slot someone else already has. If the provider does not answer within 24 hours, the request closes on its own and the time is free again.
You can have one open request with each provider at a time, and every booking keeps a 30 minute gap after it before the next one can start. If she has linked her own calendar, the times she is busy there cannot be booked either.

Every photograph here is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and members who have verified their identity carry the Verified tick. Browse who is online now, or join free to message them.

Deposits
TheDirectory.uk never takes, holds or refunds money for a booking. Some providers ask for a deposit; if so, you are shown a safety notice first and must accept it before the request is sent, and the deposit goes straight to the provider's own published address.
For an XRP deposit the site checks the payment on the ledger before your request goes through, and a deposit can only be used for one booking. The site still cannot see who sent it, so the provider confirms she has received it.
